THE RUNNER is a short film about a recovering alcoholic who turns to running as a way of confronting his past and seeking a deeper, unknown purpose.
At just 12-minutes long, the film packs a punch that resonates with viewers of all ages, cultures and demographics.
It's a thrilling ride that features stunning visuals and an all-original soundtrack while being completely free of dialogue. It's also a story of transformation, empowerment, challenge and redemption that touches on topics including drunk driving, mental and physical health, recovery and community.
The film was shot on-location in Buffalo, NY and produced in Los Angeles, CA.
THE RUNNER has screened at film festivals around the world and touched many lives. To bring everything home, the film had its North American Premiere at the Buffalo International Film Festival in October 2016.
